(05 October 2011): Iconic Composer and Performer Terry Riley and son Gyan Riley Added To Moogfest Lineup.

(29 September 2011): The Field and Marley Carroll join the Moogfest 2011 Lineup.

(22 September 2011): Moogfest 2011 is bringing back SYNTH: A Group Art Show Inspired by Bob Moog, which showcases hand made limited-edition screen prints inspired by Bob Moog’s legacy. Pieces in the show include a variety of styles of work from some of the top concert poster artists and graphic designers working today.

(15 September 2011): Adding More Awesome To Your Day: Neon Indian, Emancipator and Shahzad Ismaily Join Moogfest 2011 Lineup.

(16 August 2011): Moogfest are adding more artists: TV on the Radio, Special Disco Version featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (DFA/LCD Soundsystem), St. Vincent, Flying Lotus, Zomby, SBTRKT, Yacht, John Maus, Childish Gambino, Beats Antique, The Drums, Baths, Savoy, Araabmuzik, Cloudland Canyon, Fareed Haque + MathGames, Grimes, Mimi Goese & Ben Neill, Moon Duo, Warm Ghost, EOTO and Fine Peduncle all join this year’s outstanding lineup.

(11 August 2011): Moogfest are supremely stoked to announce that Brian Eno will be bringing his remarkable exhibition 77 Million Paintings to Asheville during the Moogfest 2011 weekend!

(23 June 2011): Moogfest have got some seriously awesome additions! Joining the lineup will be Moby (with full band!) , Amon Tobin - bringing his incredible ISAM: Live that debuted at Mutek in June, Dan Deacon, Kode9, The Antlers, Atlas Sound, Glasser, Beak> (a second project from Portishead's Geoff Barrow),  Stickmen (Tony Levin & Pat Mastelotto of King Crimson fame), Lunzproject, a rare live performance by two greatly influential musicians, Tim Story and Hans Joachim-Roedelius, and Wham City Comedy Tour. And needless to say, there are many stellar additions to come!

(31 May 2011): This year’s Moogfest lineup highlights a remarkable synergy of classic electronic music pioneers, contemporary groundbreaking artists, and young upstarts who are further pushing musical boundaries.  ‘70s innovators including Tangerine Dream, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Suicide will present rare US performances as they join a lineup that includes the Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, STS9, Ghostland Observatory, Crystal Castles, Chromeo, Battles, Umphrey’s McGee, M83, Mayer Hawthorne & The County, Adrian Belew Power Trio, Holy F**k, Matthew Dear, Toro Y Moi, Twin Shadow, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Naked And Famous, Tim Hecker, Brandt Bauer Frick, Cant, Gold Panda, Austra, Little Dragon, Anika, Causing A Tiger, and Ford & Lopatin, with many others still to be announced.

(18 February 2011): The countdown to Moogfest 2011 is officially underway! The extraordinary three-day festival celebrating the innovative spirit of sonic pioneer Robert Moog will be back in downtown Asheville, NC during Halloween weekend, October 28 - 30, 2011. The first annual "Halfway to Moogfest 2011" weekend will take place on April 29 - May 1 at The Orange Peel, a 1,000-capacity club named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the best rock clubs in the country, in Asheville, NC.

The Family Tour featuring Atmosphere, Blueprint, Grieves with Budo, Sab the Artist and DJ Abilities, Friday, April 29, 8 p.m.
 
Madlib (DJ Set) and Washed Out, Saturday, April 30, 8 p.m.

RUSKO with Doorly, Sunday, May 1, 8 p.m.

Once you arrive in Asheville, you'll need to switch out your ticket for an RFID wristband at the Exhibition Hall of the Asheville Civic Center. Check-in will be open from 11 a.m.-12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.

Speaking of Brian Eno, Warp Records has announced the exclusive pre-release of Eno’s new EP, Panic Of Looking, at Harvest Records in Asheville during the Moogfest weekend, giving festival attendees the opportunity to pick up the new release before anyone else in the world (The global release is November 8th). Eno will be attending Moogfest 2011 for the opening of his video installation, 77 Million Paintings. He will also be presenting an “Illustrated Talk” on Saturday afternoon during the festival.

Single day passes on sale this Friday, September 9 at NOON EST! Single Day Tickets will be made available at Price Level 1 for $75 each plus applicable service fees, in limited quantities. Once Price Level 1 is sold out, you will still be able to purchase tickets at Price Level 2 for $85 each plus applicable service fees, while supplies last.
