All Tomorrow's Parties (ATP) 2016 Lineup & Tickets Info

(2016-3-23) John Cale, founding member of one most influential rock bands of all time, will perform at both ATP 2.0 festivals this April! The Welsh pioneer will perform Stewart Lee’s weekender at Pontins Prestatyn, North Wales, on 15th-17th April, alongside Roky Erickson, The Fall, and This Is Not This Heat, before heading to Victoria Warehouse in Manchester to headline Drive Like Jehu’s ATP on Friday 22nd April – a billing which also hosts post-punk band Wire and electronic icon Martin Rev.

Stewart Lee also adds Laetitia Sadier - alluring voice of iconic 90’s band Stereolab, Sarah Gail Brand - the musician described by The Wire as the most exciting trombone player for years - who will be accompanied by Mark Sanders, and vocal improv trio Skatgobs to his April 15-17th weekender. Ted Chippington will perform in advance of The Nightingales. Folk artist Alasdair Roberts also joins the bill, as well as experimentalists The Bohman Brothers, and cranc with Rhodri Davies. In addition to Evan Parker’s quintet (featuring Thurston Moore), Evan Parker, John Russell & John Edwards will also perform as a trio. Plus, Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Olivia Chaney, and London based progressive, heavy, rock band Suns of Tundra join the bill. Andy Moor (The Ex) and John Butcher perform as a duo, as well as Terrie Ex and Han Bennink. Comedian Michael Legge joins the festival as compere.

(2016-3-16) Cult horror composers Claudio Simonetti & Fabio Frizzi join John Carpenter at ATP Iceland for a spectacular celebration of soundtrack mastery New additions also include the influential, instrumental trio Dirty Three, experimentalists This Is Not This Heat, international icon Omar Souleyman, Montreal’s Suuns – as well as excellent Icelandic acts such as Valdimar, Kimono, and Muck.

(2016-2-23) Welcoming new Drive Like Jehu additions... Claw Hammer, Wau Y Los Arrrghs, and Gary Wilson & The Blind Dates! They bolster an already impressive line-up of Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes, Diamanda Galás, Omar Souleyman, METZ, The Gories, Flamin' Groovies, Wire, The Ex, King Khan and The Shrines... the list goes on. Plus, there's still more to come!

(2015-12-10) Roky Erickson performing the music of 13th Floor Elevators, Sun Ra Arkestra + Richard Dawson added to All Tomorrow’s Parties 2.0 Curated by Stewart Lee. Plus Thurston Moore, Carlton Melton, The Bellrays, Wolf People, Ex-Easter Island Head, The Wolfhounds, Dave Graney and the mistLY, The Blue Aeroplanes, Alan Wilkinson, and Richard James (of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci)! They join Sleaford Mods, Boredoms, The Heads, The Necks, Shirley Collins & Ian Kearey, Datblygu, Shonen Knife, Bardo Pond, & many others playing the festival weekender.
